On September 22, Louisville Collegiate School students celebrated World Car Free Day. Hosted by the Environmental Club, this event encouraged students to walk, ride their bike, or take the TARC bus to school. Those who participated received a sticker and an out of uniform day on the 23rd. This was a great opportunity for students to help the environment and become aware of the small, everyday actions they can do to help the world around them. Many students participated, even some who normally take a car to school. All in all, this was a great opportunity to raise awareness and to incorporate student participation into an global environmental movement.
